How to Build a Redneck Bridge
In a Dozen Steps
- Find a ditch or a gap to build a bridge over. (Warning: Don't make it deep or wide)

- Locate 6 sturdy sticks and place them as shown below:
- Fill the middle with logs, sticks, and dirt:
- Find some vines or rope to wrap around all 6 post to add support
- Step on the pile, and add additional support if needed.
- Find several branches or logs to go from the beginning to the post (Get sturdy, but not heavy ones)

- Find some more logs/ branches to go from the post to the end.
- Place the logs in a sturdy way (Don't add more than necessary, it adds more stress to the post)

- Find several Y shaped sticks place under the logs to add support
- Wrap the logs with vines or rope to add support, and add post to the sides to keep them from sliding off.
- Test the bridge, and add additional support where necessary
- Enjoy! The finished product. (Yes mine did work) (Ignore the "beaver dam" in the background, that's another project.)

If you get real good try making one like below: (its made of sod pallets)

Or just place a log over the ditch, and an instant bridge!
