How to Build a Redneck Bridge
In a Dozen Steps

  1. Find a ditch or a gap to build a bridge over. (Warning: Don't make it deep or wide)

  2. Locate 6 sturdy sticks and place them as shown below:

  3. Fill the middle with logs, sticks, and dirt:

  4. Find some vines or rope to wrap around all 6 post to add support

  5. Step on the pile, and add additional support if needed.
  6. Find several branches or logs to go from the beginning to the post (Get sturdy, but not heavy ones)

  7. Find some more logs/ branches to go from the post to the end.
  8. Place the logs in a sturdy way (Don't add more than necessary, it adds more stress to the post)

  9. Find several Y shaped sticks place under the logs to add support
  10. Wrap the logs with vines or rope to add support, and add post to the sides to keep them from sliding off.
  11. Test the bridge, and add additional support where necessary
  12. Enjoy! The finished product. (Yes mine did work) (Ignore the "beaver dam" in the background, that's another project.)
